On 30th October 2020 amidst Covid-19 I discussed on mobile phone with banker Jitendra Kumar Ji to establish a dialogue between known well-to-do personalities of Meerut & outside. In response, he opened a zoom link free for 40 minutes meeting. Both of us along with Er Tikam Singh Ji had a chat on zoom on 30th October evening. We then decided to add more members and invite them for a zoom meeting the next day on 31st October 2021. We added Er Pravendra Kumar, Ghaziabad, and Er M.C. Verma from Lucknow and had a meeting to learn the process of conducting or handling zoom meetings. I had a thought in my mind to interconnect businessmen of our society and bring them on one platform inspired by DICCI but in a slightly different way. DICCI is a big organization now of upper-class businessmen of Dalits and is in operation for the last 13 years but making only established businessmen as its members. There are many members of DICCI having their businesses in Meerut but I am sorry to say it has no activity in Meerut. Further, it has been divided into Dicci having Milind Kamley as its president & DICCI North run by R.K Singh of Uttar Pradesh and Subhash Singh Grover of Haryana both were earlier members of Dicci. No benefit has been passed on to small businessmen of remote or small cities or towns. Before Covid -19, I along with Sanjeev Kumar and Ramjeevanlal ji had prepared a list of almost 100 businessmen of Meerut under the small/medium/large category. When we went deep, we found that many of our small businessmen are scared of disclosing their identity. This should not be the situation and we should have our own strong organization to protect them, to finance them, to buy from them, to sell them. Lastly to interconnect them. During the process, we met with another big problem of our children’s marriage issues. Every one of us desires to search groom for our daughters a government servant and don’t prefer a successful businessman of our society in comparison to govt employee from peon to the class-1 officer. This is an alarming issue and needs to be addressed as early as possible otherwise our children will remain unmarried or will get married under pressure. The situation of govt jobs is alarming and in the present scenario, we don’t have many govt jobs particularly for reserved classes. The reservation quota is being abolished or not being implemented in the way as earlier. The lateral entry into civil services and 10% reservation to the EWS category is the last nail in the coffin. In this scenario, we considered it best to have one platform to:-

(1) Improve our socio-economic status

(2)  convert our new generation from being job seekers to job givers by establishing his/her business set up and with this pure motive on basis of no profit no loss, nonpolitical and non-religious, no -caste, the foundations of this Progressive Business Alliance were laid.

Since then in earlier days we conducted a meeting on daily basis but it was too regressive to prepare for new topics hence with the approval of members we changed to meeting on alternative days but again being a limited number of members it was very difficult for us to run these meeting and finally it was unanimously decided to have weekly meeting preferably on Sunday and we are doing so. 3. To believe that we are going to change the history and that is why we are here physically in this first annual get together event of progressive business alliance. I salute you all especially our women and young entrepreneurs and wish to achieve great height in your business.

I wish in coming year 2021-22 with the cooperation of all existing registered members and would be members we may take this alliance to the height beyond our imagination and will be able to provide our next generation a platform from where they can pic & choose their right path to start a business of their choice. Not only this we may also help them in finance as bankers if the members makes a corps of funds after getting this alliance registered as a society or section-8 company.
